Indoor Air Comfort label was presented at Consense congress and exhibition, 22nd + 23rd June 2010 at Stuttgart, Germany. Indoor Air Comfort is a product certification program for showing low VOC emissions of products into indoor air, for promoting living comfort indoors by ensuring good indoor air quality. The program combines requirements of most European national labels into one set of specifications, on two quality levels - Indoor Air Comfort, and Indoor Air Comfort GOLD.

World market leader in VOC emissions testing

Eurofins Product Testing A/S is the world market leader in terms of capacity for VOC emissions chamber testing, operating more than 100 test chambers of different sizes, experienced with VOC emission chamber testing since 1989.

Hazardous chemicals may form part of a product without posing harm if they do not leave the product at any time, but they may lead to significant health risks when set free. Sustainable or "Green" Buildings

Eurofins fulfills the requirements for VOC emission testing for Sustainable Buildings programmes, such as LEED. Eurofins was approved by and partners with SCS (California) on VOC emission testing for LEED approved programmes such as BIFMA, FloorScore and Indoor Advantage Gold. Other specifications may be based on BREEAM or HQE.

VOC emission testing by Eurofins Product Testing A/S is accredited by DANAK in accordance with ISO 17025 which is the prerequisite for an analytical laboratory - ISO 9001 certification will not be sufficient.
